Terms & Conditions
BOOKING INFORMATION
The following Terms and Conditions are necessary to ensure all Members enjoy their stay,
and in order to provide this Member benefit at affordable rates.
- A deposit of ($50) is required within three days of booking a unit. The balance is required at least eight weeks prior to the first day of tenancy. If the booking is cancelled, transferred or changed, an administration fee of $50 applies.
- Inventories of equipment & utensils should be checked on arrival. All breakages and any damage whatsoever MUST be reported to the Caretaker. Major items (mattresses, furniture etc), if damaged or soiled, will be replaced at the expense of the Member. Parens are responsible to ensure children do not soil mattresses. Some cots and high chairs are available by prior arrangement at no cost (other than Margaret River).
- The period of tenancy is from 2pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure. No more than the number of Adults and Children indicated at the time of booking are permitted to occupy the units which are equipped to a maximum of 4 to 6 persons.
- Tenancy is restricted to a maximum of two weeks, other than Busselton and Margaret River during the Christmas period, where tenancy is restricted to one week. Minimum bookings are two nights. During the annual "school leavers" period, a bond of $500 may be applied.
- Tenants are responsible for maintaining and leaving the unit in a clean and tidy condition. This includes sweeping floors, vacuuming all carpeted areas, mopping all tiled areas, removing rubbish from internal bins, making beds, and cleaning kitchen, toilet and bathroom areas. The tidiness of the area surrounding the unit is also the tenant's responsibility. Any cost of any additional cleaning necessary by the Caretaker and/or a professional cleaner, will be charged to the departing tenant.
- The allocation of units is made at the time of booking, and any change will only be made in the event of unforseen circumstances. Please refer also the applicability of a fee (point 1).
- Bookings are NOT transferable, sub-letting is NOT permitted and the Member must be staying at the units.
- Bookings are subject to change where repairs or maintenance may be required or other circumstances arise.
- All electrical and plumbing issues, or complaints, should be referred, in the first instance, to the Caretaker.
- Rubbish must be placed inthe bins provided. All scraps must be wrapped as required by Health Department by laws.
- The Member booking the unit is responsible for the conduct of all occupants and should ensure that no inconvenience is caused to other tenants, or residents in adjoining properties.
- Pets are NOT permitted at any API Holiday Home site. This also applies to any visitor's pets.
- All API accommodation is strictly Non Smoking.
- The Caretaker is authorised to ensure that tenants comply with these terms and conditions.
