Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions are aimed at ensuring that all Members can enjoy their stay, and so that API can continue to provide Holiday Homes at affordable rates.

When booking and prior to your stay.

  1. Minimum bookings are two nights and maximum bookings are two weeks. The only exceptions to this are:
    • at Busselton during the Christmas school holidays, where the minimum and maximum booking is one week
    • during WA School Holidays, when only 7 or 14 day ‘whole week’ bookings from Sunday to Saturday nights are accepted.
      (Note: Bookings of less than a week during school holidays can sometimes be made if availability still exists - but not until it is within 28 days of the time you want to go.)
  2. A deposit of $50 is required within three days of making a booking, with the balance being paid at least eight weeks prior to the first day of tenancy. For stays less than eight weeks ahead, payment in full is due at the time of booking. Bookings not meeting this requirement may be forfeited.
  3. The allocation of units is made by API at the time of booking and any change will only by made in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If a booking is cancelled, transferred to a different date or otherwise changed at the request of a member, an administration fee of upto $50 applies. API reserves the right to change bookings where repairs or maintenance are required or should other circumstances make it necessary.
  4. Bookings are NOT transferable to anyone else and subletting is NOT permitted. The Member making the booking must be personally staying at the unit throughout the booking and accordingly Members may only book one unit at a time.
  5. The period of all tenancies is from 2.00pm on the day arrival until 10.00am on the day of departure. No more than the number of Adults and Children indicated at the time of booking are permitted to occupy units which are equipped to a maximum of 5 people at Point Peron and up to 6 people at all other locations.
  6. During the annual 'school leavers' period special terms and conditions apply and a bond of $1500 may be applied. The General Manager may at any time decline bookings or apply any additional conditions deemed necessary.
  7. Pets are not to be taken with you as they are NOT permitted at any API holiday home site. This also applies to the pets of any visitors you may have.

During your stay

  1. Inventories of equipment & utensils should be checked on arrival. All breakages and any damage whatsoever must be reported to the Caretaker. Major items (mattresses, furniture etc), if damaged or soiled, will be replaced at the expenses of the Member. Parents are responsible for ensuring children do not soil mattresses. Some cots, high chairs and casual bedding are available by prior arrangement at no cost
  2. Tenants are responsible for maintaining and leaving the unit in a clean and tidy condition. This includes sweeping floors, vacuuming all carpeted areas, mopping all tiled areas, removing rubbish from internal bins, making beds, and cleaning kitchen, toilet and bathroom areas. The tidiness of the area surrounding the unit is also the tenant’s responsibility. Any cost of any additional cleaning necessary by the caretaker and/or a professional cleaner, will be charged to the departing tenant.
  3. Rubbish must be placed in the bins provided. All food scraps must be wrapped as required by Health Department bylaws.
  4. All API accommodation is strictly Non Smoking
  5. The Member booking the unit is responsible for the conduct of all occupants and should ensure that no inconvenience is caused to other tenants or residents in adjoining properties.
  6. Any electrical and plumbing issues, or complaints, should be referred, in the first instance to the Caretaker.

The Caretaker is authorised to ensure that tenants comply with these Terms and Conditions

  • Milk (for tea & coffee on arrival)
